About Singapore

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is an island country and city-state in Southeast Asia. Its territory comprises a main island, over 60 satellite islands and islets, and one outlying islet. The country is about one degree of latitude north of the equator, off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, bordering the Strait of Malacca to the west, the Singapore Strait to the south along with the Riau Islands in Indonesia, the South China Sea to the east and the Straits of Johor along with the State of Johor in Malaysia to the north.

• Singapore is well-served by Changi Airport, one of Asia's busiest international hubs, making it easily accessible from most major cities worldwide. Upon arrival, you'll find multiple transportation options to reach your accommodation and the congress venue. The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system is Singapore's primary public transport network, offering efficient, affordable connections throughout the city with frequent service and clear signage in English. Taxis and rideshare services like Grab are widely available and reasonably priced for shorter journeys. Many hotels also offer shuttle services to major events. The city's compact size and excellent infrastructure mean you can navigate easily between your hotel, the venue, and other locations without a rental car.
