About Paris

Paris is the capital and largest city of France, with an estimated city population of 2.04 million in an area of 105.4 km2 (40.7 sq mi), and a metropolitan population of 13.2 million as of January 2026. Located on the river Seine in the centre of the Île-de-France region, it is the largest metropolitan area and fourth-most populous city in the European Union (EU). Getting There

• Paris is served by several major airports, with Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) being the largest international hub, located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of the city center. Orly Airport offers another convenient option for European travelers. From either airport, you can reach central Paris via train, bus, or shuttle services within 30-60 minutes. Once in Paris, the city's extensive public transportation network—including the Metro, buses, and regional trains—makes it easy to navigate to your venue and around the city. Taxis and rideshare services are widely available throughout Paris, offering direct door-to-door transport.
